Date Range
The calendar selects a 40-day range by default, starting with the current week. You can select either/both the from/to date ranges by clicking the from/to boxes or the calendar icon
(to the right of each).
You then need to click
to re-draw the calendar. -
Divisions/Teams
This selector allows none, one or more team(s) to be selected and displayed -- at the same time. With this feature someone can view any set or combination of teams' schedules on a single page. Useful for families with multiple league participants!
To select multiple teams:-
scroll to the first team and click to select;
-
scroll to the next team, but press <Ctrl> when you click:
Two teams are now selected. As shown in this example, team selections can span divisions. - Repeat for as many teams as you wish.
- Made a mistake? <Ctrl>-clicking an already-selected item will deselect it.
- The <Ctrl>-click method works for the "Team(s)" selector on the New/Modify Event form so that both teams' schedules are updated with a single entry. There is no need to "double-book" entries.
Once team(s) have been selected, you then need to click
to show
the composite schedule:
Because space within the calendar is limited, each event on the calendar shows only a start time, a brief description and location. Each event is a link that you can click to view more information in an easier to read format at the top of the calendar page.
In this example, you'd probably click one of the event links to determine to which division/team the practice applies.
The "divisions/teams" selector, lists the teams (within their respective division) for which events have been scheduled. There are also ‘synthetic’ division(s)/team(s) (such as "all <division> teams") that can reference other league entities that aren't truly teams, but for which people may have interest.
-
scroll to the first team and click to select;
-
This feature will automatically display the given division/team selection(s) the next time the calendar page is visited, so that you don't have to re-select the set of teams of interest each time.
